Mrs. Rorie was born on June 28, 1926 to Delmer and Bessie Mae Seagroves in Durham, NC. Pearl was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and member of the Columbus Club of Durham. Pearl will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Rorie was preceded in death by her parents, Delmer and Bessie Seagroves; husband, Harvey W. Rorie; and son, Douglas Rorie. She is survived by her son, Delmer Rorie; daughter-in-law, Debra Rorie; sister, Jackie Holt; grandchildren, Austin Douglas Rorie (Meghan), and Blair Rorie Brown (Justin); and great-grandchildren, Carter Brown, Cooper Brown, Baylor Brown, Tilghman Rorie, and Mary Crawford Rorie.
