Pearl (Brousseau) Forgione, 88, a lifelong resident of New Britain, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016 at home with her family at her side. Born on September 4, 1927, Pearl was the daughter of the late Joseph and Leontine (Beaulieu) Brousseau and the beloved wife of Pasquale Forgione of New Britain. Pearl attended school locally and was a graduate of New Britain High. She was briefly employed as a clerical for Stanley Works. A woman of faith, she was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church. A talented seamstress she enjoyed sewing and mending and baking and cooking for her family. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Besides her husband Pasquale, Pearl is survived by her daughters, Sharon Ouellette and her husband Stanley, of Pulaski, NY; Carol Labonte of Plainville, Catherine Forgione of Enfield, her daughter-in-law Denise Forgione of ME, her sisters, Agnes Archacki of MA; Bernadette Crenella and her husband John, of New Britain; her grandchildren, Corrie Chambrello (Jeffrey) of New Hartford; Stephanie Carbonneau (Michael) of ME; Gary Forgione-Umenhofer (Jon) of ME; and Cherise Labonte-O’Brien (Sean) of New Haven; five great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Renee, Chloe, Dominic, and Julliette; her sister-in-law, Dottie Brousseau of Newington, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Pearl was predeceased by her son, Gary Forgione, her brothers, Joseph, Edward and John Brousseau.
