Pearl Ann Penick, 61, of near Rising Sun, passed away Tuesday, April 8th, at her home.

She was born March 28th, 1947, in Chapmansville, West Virginia, the daughter of Clayton and Bertha (Kirk) Anderson, who both preceded her in death. She was a line cook at Argosy Casino in Lawrenceburg. She loved to cook and was famous for her creme pies.

She was married February 20th, 1988, to Luther Penick, Jr., who survives.

Other survivors include her sons, Mark Allen Napper of East Enterprise and David Lee Napper of Palm Springs, California; her brothers, Bill Drake of Panther, West Virginia and Clayton Anderson, Jr., of Rising Sun; her sisters, Doris Cline of Panther, West Virginia and Betty Strickland of Grafton, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Timber and Tessla.

She was also preceded in death by her sons, Jerry Wayne Napper and William Matthew Napper.
