Muncie – Pearie E. Allred, 70, went home to be with her Lord on September 27,
in Muncie to Grant Irvin and Roxie Ellen (Lyon) Brees. Pearie stayed at home and raised
her children before working at MCL Muncie, for seventeen years and then retiring from
the Dunkirk Library.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-seven years Hewey C. Allred, three
daughters Carrie Buck (husband-Keith); Dunreith, Ailesia Franklin (husband-Tony);
Dunkirk, Cindy Bradley; Muncie, sister Freda Herbert; Hartford City,
brother Dale Brees, Woodhaven, Michigan, six grandchildren Henry Long, Jr. (wife-
Nicki); Chris Long (wife-Heather); Jennifer Stigall (husband-Josh); Whitney Gaskill
(husband-Aaron); Dustin Franklin and Michael Bradley, nine great-grandchildren and
several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pearie was preceded in death by her parents, a son Hewey Allred, Jr.; one
son-in-law Mike Bradley and two brothers Willard Brees and Irvin Ray Brees.
