Pauline F. “Polly” Wimmer, 89, of Quakertown, died Saturday, December 10, at Hidden Meadows on the Ridge, Sellersville. She was the wife of the late Earl H. Wimmer. She worked as a seamstress and was employed by the former H & F Clothing Factory in Sellersville for many years before retiring in 1992. Born in Quakertown, Pauline was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Esther (Mondeau) Fritz. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, where she sang in the choir and belonged to the Silver and Gold Club. Pauline was a music lover, a soprano, and an accomplished amateur artist. She is survived by daughters: Mary Ellen Pompei of Quakertown and Maureen V. Wimmer and husband James B. Bell of Millburn, NJ; son: Michael J. of Perkasie; sister: Patricia Sommer and husband Norman of Miamisburg, OH; brother: Jerome and wife Elaine of Ontario, CA; grandchildren: Michael, Thomas, Tina, Robin, Michael J. Jr.; great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Nicole, Brent, Dana, Christian, Olivia, Kylie, Jessica, Emily, Brianna, Danielle, Jared, Drew; great-great grandchildren: Gavin, Elyssa. She was preceded in death by brothers: Ferdinand Jr., James, and John; sister: Joan McCurdy; son-in-law: Ronald Pompei; and daughter-in-law: Ruth Wimmer.
