She was united in holy matrimony tot he late Lacy A. Harris in 1947. To this union eight children were born.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Townsend, and Margaret Evans; six sons, Bobby Harris, Mickey Harris, Donald Harris, Jerry Harris, Lacy Harris, Jr., and Billy Harris; three sisters, Rosie Kelly, Anna, Daisy Powell; one daughter in law, Rose Harris; one son in law, Paul Townsend; host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
