Pauline S. Goody, 90, of Brighton, Colorado peacefully passed on the morning of September 13, 2021 in the memory care unit at Inglenook of Brighton.

Pauline was born to Rose Appelton(Iowa) and Isaac Nova(Mexico) on September 18, 1930 in the township of Summit Lake, Minnesota.  She was the last in a family of 12 children to pass.

Pauline is survived by her two daughters, Karen Pavelsek-Simmons(husband Kurt and daughter Samantha), and Vicki Pavelsek(partners Ben, Glen).

She was a graduate of the University of Colorado at Denver(UCD) as were daughters Karen, Vicki and granddaughter Samantha.  Paulines life took her from Minnesota, to Nebraska, Kansas, Wyoming and Colorado.  In her youth she worked in a variety of jobs and even won a car which she sold to help support her family and continue her education at a community college in Nebraska.

In Nebraska, Pauline met and married her first husband, Arthur M. Pavelsek.  She became a lab/X-Ray technician in Kansas and Wyoming hospitals and clinics.  In Colorado she continued work as a lab/X-Ray technician while raising two daughters and attending UCD.

At UCD she met and married her second husband, Frank J. Goody, owner and teacher of martial arts at the American Budo/Judo College.
Pauline loved gardening, garage sales and rock hunting.  She was a smart, energetic woman and a loving wife and mother.  She will be greatly missed.
