Pauline R. Robbins McCoy, 91, Indianapolis, died November 5, 2010 at Hoosier Village, Indianapolis, Indiana after a brief illness.

She was born February 15, 1919 in Overton County, Tennessee, living in Anderson for sixty years, before moving to Indianapolis ten years ago. Pauline retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. She was a very active member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. Kindness toward others characterized her life. She will be remembered as a lovely lady with gentle and caring spirit and her loving and generous nature. She enjoyed her extensive travels, giving book reviews, and quilting with friends.

Survivors include her two children, Cora Ervin Berlinger of Carmel and Janis Thomas Bray of Orland Park, IL; four grandchildren, Pamela James Meng of Indianapolis, Allison Keith Oswalt of Ft. Wayne, Beth Ann Dave Fitzgerald of Chicago, IL and Susan Thomas Staab of Chicago, IL; nine great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Hoosier Village for their loving care of Pauline.

She was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married March 5, 1938, Robert H. McCoy; parents, Ulysess & Sallie Alred Robbins; five brothers and four sisters.
