Pauline Lucille Possiel, 91, of Tinton Falls, NJ passed from this life, Friday, March 6, 2020. Pauline was born May 10, 1928 in Newark, New Jersey to the late James and Lucy Pariso. In 1950, she married her high school sweetheart, Norman, to whom she was happily married for 54 years.

In 1960, they moved to New Providence, New Jersey where they raised their three children. Following the passing of her husband in 2004, Pauline moved to Seabrook Village in Tinton Falls, NJ in 2004. Pauline was a loving wife, devoted mother, and trusted friend. She was a positive person who always had a kind word and was generous to anyone in need.

She volunteered for several charitable organizations over the years giving of her time and talents. She traveled the world extensively sightseeing or visiting family and even spent a year living in Baghdad, Iraq. Her grandchildren were very special to her as she was to them. She visited them often and they spent time with her in the summer at the family beach house in Lavallette. Pauline enjoyed playing cards and games with her family and her friends at Seabrook Village.

She was truly a caring, kind person who will be greatly missed by all. Pauline is predeceased by her parents; husband, Norman Possiel, Sr.; sisters, Eleanor Englert and Ann Benedek. Pauline is survived by her son, Norman Possiel, Jr. and his wife Hazel of Raleigh, North Carolina; daughters Nancy Ferreira and her husband Joe of Jupiter, Florida; and Eileen Cannon and her husband John of Haverford, Pennsylvania; sister, Marilyn Giordano of Lavallette; and 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
