Pauline “Polly” (Payne) Johnson, age 72 years, of Plymouth, died Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Beth Israel – Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. She was the wife of the late Ernest F. Johnson with whom she enjoyed 41 years of marriage, and the daughter of the late Pauline (McCarthy) Payne. Born in Boston, Pauline was raised in Gunrock Beach, Hull. She was a graduate of Hull High School and worked as a bartender at Bert’s Restaurant in Plymouth and as a manage at JC Penney in Kingston. She had a creative side to her, painting beautiful pictures, painting decorative furniture and making seascapes in stained glass. She found great enjoyment in traveling, spending time with family and friends. Most important to Pauline was the time she spent with the loves of her life, Marina and Aliya. She will be dearly missed by her son Adam Johnson and her two granddaughters, Marina and Aliya Johnson.
