WALLINGFORD – Pauline M. McCarty, 94, of Wallingford, beloved wife of the late William J. McCarty departed this life on May 14, 2011 at the Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford.
Pauline was born in Boston, MA, on November 24, 1916 daughter of the late Arthur and Nellie (Coombs) Drouin.
Until her retirement she was employed as an office clerk at Ulbrich Stainless Steel. She was a long time member of the Wallingford Senior Center. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, gardening, and was an avid lover of animals. She was also well known for her wonderful sense of humor. She will be remembered most as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.
She will be sadly missed by her three daughters: Colleen Harris and her husband David of Wallingford, Bonnie Bonito and her partner Michael Falcigno of Wallingford, and Betsy Parisi and her husband Mark of Branford. She also leaves 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Lake and a son Michael Robert McCarty.
