Pauline L. Chastain Wilkinson, 77, Markleville, died January 31, 2006, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis after an extended illness. She was born February 5, 1928, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and resided in Markleville, Indiana.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Eastview Church of the Nazarene. She grew up in Mitchell, and as a teenager, attended Mitchell Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed crocheting and camping with her family as well as other family gatherings. She is survived by her Three Children: Ronald Merle & wife Brenda Wilkinson of Hartford City. Jerry Dean Wilkinson of Markleville. Patricia Lynne Wilkinson & husband Gary Shields. Siblings: Curt & wife Doris Chastain of Yorktown. Rowanna Lupher of Mitchell. Rev. Claude Chastain Jr & wife Nancy of Mitchell. Marilyn Cobble of Mitchell. Four Grandchildren: Scott & wife Amanda Wilkinson of Lafayette. Maria Wilkinson-Hurst & husband Ben, Bethani Davis & husband Chad of Lafayette, and Jerry Schroeder of Muncie. Six Great Grandchildren: Jordan Wilkinson of Yorktown, Ariana & Riley Wilkinson of Lafayette and Whitney, Alysia and Cole Davis of Lafayette. Several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years: Merle E. Wilkinson who passed away on August 1, 1999. Parents: Claude & Mary Nettie Fields Chastain.
