Pauline Lunger Lockrow passed away at Sardis Oaks on September 5, 2013. She was born in Rochester, New York on May 6, 1933, to Paul R. Lunger and Lucille B. Greene. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Mae Myers.
Pauline is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wilbur “Bill” Lockrow, her brother, Eugene E. Lunger and wife Florence, niece Betsy Childress, and nephews Gene, David, and Lance Lunger. She is also survived by beloved sisters-in-law Linda Deese and Nancy Haislip, and brother-in-law Tom Haislip.
Pauline graduated from Hartwick college with a B.S. in nursing and worked at hospitals in North Carolina, South Carolina, and in Iraq at the J.A. Jones Hospital. She was a long time member of the Sweet Adelines and a member of the choir at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
