Pauline J. (Jolin) Schilling, 87, of Augusta, GA, formerly of Bristol, passed away on December 27, 2015. She was the widow of Robert W. Schilling, with whom she shared sixty three loving years of marriage.
Pauline was born in Trois-Rivières (Three Rivers), Canada daughter to the late Antonio and Yvonne (Cloutier) Jolin. She resided in Bristol most of her life where she and her husband raised their three kids. Prior to starting her family, she worked as a clockmaker at Ingraham Manufacturing in Bristol. She spent close to fifty years with her family at their summer cottage that Robert had built on Hog Island in Rhode Island. There she would enjoy the company of her loved ones while she found an interest in clamming, alongside her husband. She crocheted beautiful quilts and was a master at pasta and soup making. For the past three and a half years, Pauline had been living in Georgia.
She is survived by her son Robert Schilling and his wife Rosemary of Savannah, GA; her son-in-law David Garlington of Augusta, GA; her brother M.T. Jolin of Plainville; her grandchildren Jason Schilling and his wife Rebekah of Burlington, Joline Schilling of Milford, Sara Gruber and her husband Jose of Saraland, AL, Jeff Garlington and his wife Melissa of Augusta, GA, Jess Schilling of Berlin, Garrett Schilling of Plainville, and Michael Dube of Osage Beach, MO; her great-grandchildren Ayden and Lucas Schilling, Alex and Maria Gruber, Emilyn and Brantley Garlington, Jacob and Mercedes Schilling, Evan Schilling, and Carter Dube; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Schilling, her son Westley Schilling, her daughter Debra Garlington, and her sister Jeanine Baehr.
