Pauline Hinds, 81, of Bloomington, died on Saturday evening at Bloomington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Pauline was born on January 7, 1928 in Monroe County to Don and Mattie (Poff) Deckard. She married her husband of 50 years Roy E. Hinds on December 10, 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1995.
Pauline worked at Sarkes Tarzian and ST Semicon as an assembler and was known by her friends as a generous person. Survivors include two sons and their wives, Michael Hinds and wife Teresa of Fairfax, VA and Steve Hinds and wife Rhonda of Bloomington. She is also survived by her son-in-law Gary Chambers of Bloomington. 7grandchildren: Wendy Wagoner, Tanya Warblington, Mattie Hinds, Paige Hinds, Brandon Hinds, Rachelle Seifert, and Eric Chambers also survive along with 6 great grandchildren: Abby and Ashley Chambers, Brittney Wagoner, Natasha Bowen, Jacob and Zachary Seifert.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Roy Hinds, two daughters, Sandra Chambers and Karen Sanderford, three brothers, Bobby, Paul and Ulice Deckard, her parents and her dog Chrissy.
