Paulhus, Pauline (Lefort) 94, formerly of Slatersville, died peacefully on July 16, 2010 at Mt. St. Rita Health Centre, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Lawrence E. Paulhus with whom she had been married for fifty-eight years.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Charles and Celina (Mayer) Lefort, she had lived in Woonsocket before moving to North Smithfield in 1954.
Employed for eighteen years as an assembler at Narragansett Knitting, Woonsocket, she retired in 1977.
She is survived by her three loving sons: Robert G. Paulhus and his wife Maria of Terceira, Azores, Portugal, Raymond E. Paulhus, and his wife Betty of Metairie, LA, and Gerald M. Paulhus and his wife Lucille of Cumberland and grandchildren, Christopher Paulhus, Dolores Paulhus, Robert Paulhus Jr., Mark Paulhus, Stephen Paulhus, Sarah Paulhus, Michael Paulhus and Melanie Brawley, and great grandchildren Simao Paulhus, Christian Paulhus, Calah Paulhus, Nathan Paulhus, Caroline Paulhus, Benz Brawley and Boston Brawley.
She was the sister of the late Albertina Poirier, Christina Manseau, Rena Page, Rhea Lefort, Jeanne d’Arc Cadieux, and Paul Lefort.
