Pauline Correll, 92, from Salisbury was released and beat her battle with Alzheimer on Sunday, July 29, at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks.
She was born March 26, 1920 in the Trading Ford Community to the late Pearl Peacock Beck and Lester Beck.
She graduated from E. Spencer High School and Salisbury Business College. Retiring from the office of NC Finishing Co. Before her illness she enjoyed meeting her friends for lunch at Wendy’s, Bojangles or Richard’s BBQ. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leo Correll in 1981 and sisters Mary Kimble and Lillian Beck and brothers Alfred Beck and Marshall Beck.
Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law Judy Correll and Douglas Schenk; 3 grandsons and wives Steven and Carla Schenk of Salisbury, Jeff and Amanda Schenk of Mebane, NC and Christopher and Jennifer Schenk of Salisbury; 4 great grandchildren Eric and Hanna Schenk of Salisbury, Erin and Scott Hardee of Kannapolis and Andrea Schenk and Jordin Schenk of Mebane, NC; 2 great-great grandchildren Maddison Schenk and C. J. Hardee.
