Pauline Allswede Weston, of Midland, passed away on April 9, 2017 at the age of 104. She was born on February 10, 1913, the second child of Anton and Eva (Foster) Dahl, in the home of her maternal grandparents in Clarence II. She moved to Michigan with her parents in 1920 and was educated in the Merrill school system.

Surviving Pauline are her children, Jerry (Jewell) Allswede of Midland MI, Wayne (Joyce) Allswede of Rockford MI and Ralph (Judy) Allswede of East Lansing MI; her daughter, Shirley Ann Allswede, passed away in 2001; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and nine great, great grandchildren; sisters, Norma Bell, Eunice Kotcher; brother, Martin Dahl.

Preceding Pauline in death was her husband of 60 years, Gerald (Dick) Allswede, in 1990 and husband of 11 years, Donald Weston, in 2003; sisters, Hazel Weymouth, Francis Krupka, Ruth Welch, Ruby Hoagland, Betty Bernard and two infant siblings, Delores and Harold Dahl.

Pauline was a wonderful mother and homemaker. For twenty five plus years she enjoyed wintering in Florida. Past-times her loves were gardening, dancing, quilting and sewing. She was a founding member of the Sanford Birthday Club in 1937. Pauline remained active in it for over 55 years and was its last Charter Member. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
