Upland: Paulette Lucille Lee, 55, was born October 5, 1955 to Paul T. and Tahlou (Kelley) Lee of Upland. She lost her battle with cancer, surrounded by her loved ones, July 14, 2011, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Lee, in 2007 and baby sister, Kelley Ann, in 1960.
Paulette is survived by her mother, Tahlou Lee, and a host of special family and friends that include sister, Theresa (Mike) Russell and family, Camea Kelley and family, Aunt Charlotte Kelley and family, Uncle Dwight Kelley and family, a grandson, Justin Coffey, Rick Osborne, Neil Spurling and family, Jennifer Mills, and Steven Snider. She was formerly married to James Jacks of Gas City for 17 years.
Paulette was raised in Upland and graduated from Eastbrook High School in 1974. She lived in Grant County most of her life and worked as a professional caregiver and nanny, as well as a housewife. She enjoyed spending time at Yogi Bear Campground Resorts, Pierceton, IN and was an avid NASCAR fan. She believed Carl Edwards was the best driver.
