Paula Sue (Dean) Slinkard passed away Friday September 17, 2010 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.
She was born on December 31, 1942 in Fortville. Paula was a tireless homemaker and business partner to her husband, Ted D. Slinkard, whom she married on June 13, 1959 at the old Fortville Christian Church.
She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary #6904; a past member of Job’s Daughters; and an avid racing fan. Paula was also a member of Fortville Christian Church for over 60 years. Mrs. Slinkard is survived by her husband; daughters: Crystal L. Clouse of Madison County; Dawn R. (Chris) Brawner of Fortville; and Jody D. Bruce, also of Fortville; mother Helen Dean of Fortville; brother Tony (Diana) Hayse of Greenfield and four grandchildren: Brent Turner, Jr.; Evan Brawner; and Noah and Gabrielle Bruce. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Dean and sister Deana M. Dean.
