Paula M. Quigg age 68 of Highland, IN, passed away at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis on Thursday, August 21, 2014, surrounded by her family.
Survived by: Husband, Beresford “Barry” Quigg; Three children: Stacie (Bryan) Nourse of Fishers, IN; Jason (Courtney) Quigg of Hobart, IN; and Stephanie (Gary) Smith of Fishers, IN; Three grandchildren: Caden Quigg; Madeline and Grant Smith; One brother, Bill (Melody) Rudigier; and two sisters, Holly (George) Moyer; and Susan (Ben) Mchabcheb; Many nieces and nephews.
Paula was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher and friend to many. She loved doing anything with family and friends. She had a green thumb and cherished her time in her beautiful gardens. She also enjoyed watching sports while reading a good book. She was a special education teacher for over 35 years at Harding Elementary School in Hammond, IN.
Paula graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Missouri Valley College in 1969, and later completed her Master’s of Arts degree from Purdue University.
