Paula M. Mustachio (Laratta), 96 of Toms River, formerly of Belleville, NJ passed from this life peacefully on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
Paula was born on June 4, 1925 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. She lived in Morristown and West Orange, before retiring with her husband to Toms River in 1977. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was married to Anthony Mustachio in 1944, until his passing in 1995. She was a member of Unico where she volunteered selflessly, and in 1993 she was the 1st Runner-Up in the Ms. Senior Ocean County Beauty Pageant. She enjoyed water skiing, ice skating, singing opera and boating with her husband. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Paula is predeceased by her parents, Anthony Laratta; Maria Gualtieri Laratta; husband, Anthony Mustachio; brothers, Sam Laratta; Frank Laratta and Tony Laratta.
Paula is survived by her sons, Joseph Mustachio and his wife Linda of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; Matt Mustachio and his wife Judy of Rockaway Township, New Jersey; brother, Joe Laratta of Nutley; grandchildren, Joe Mills; Carolyn Marquez; Michael Mustachio; Marc Mustachio; great grandchildren, Reese Marquez and Olivia Marquez.
