Paula K. Herman, age 65, passed away on Wednesday July 20, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center.
Paula was born October 10, 1956 in Wisconsin Rapids to Fred and Ellen (Ryan) Reimer. She attended Assumption High School and graduated in 1974. Paula married Marvin Herman on May 22, 1976 and they were blessed with 38 years of marriage until his passing on November 29, 2014. She was employed as the aquatic’s director in Scranton, PA. In July 2020 she decided to move back to Wisconsin Rapids from Summit, PA to be closer to her family. She loved working at the YMCA as a Senior Splash Instructor, teaching swim lessons and being a life guard. Paula sang in the church choir at Our Lady Queen of Heaven. She loved doing crafts which knitting and making Christmas ornaments were her favorite. Paula also liked spending time outdoors in nature and liked to watch river otters.
In her younger years she enjoyed taking annual family trips to Minocqua.
Paula is survived by her brother David (Cathy) Reimer and sisters: Sue (Dick) Fleisner, Sally (Bob) Langer and LuAnn (Jeff) Patterson; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family, and her beloved dog Katie.
She is preceded in death by her husband Marvin, her parents, and nephew Chad Reimer.
