Paula Jean Newago,78 of Bemidji passed away at her home on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Paula was born in Minneapolis on August 8, 1943, to Phillip and Evelyn (Aberg) Anderson.
Paula grew up in Minneapolis where she met the love of her life, Mike. They were married February 22, 1974 and raised their four children. She worked as a maid for many years. They retired to Cass Lake in 1997 and Paula enjoyed spending time at the casino playing bingo, having coffee, and visiting friends. Perkins was another favorite place to visit friends. Everyone knew that Paula loved chocolate and loved when you would make her fudge. She loved when she could spend time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her precious great-great grandbaby, Za’Ryiah.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Newago, David Newago, Kathy Newago, grandchildren, Joe, Kenny, Theresa, Ida, George, Rick, Bobby, Mikey, David, Corina, Ann Marie, Jason, Tony, Mick, Jordan; numerous great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Family that Paula is reunited with are her husband, Michael; parents, Phillip and Evelyn Anderson and her daughter, Diane Beaulieu; grandsons “Baby Doodles and Derek.
