CAMBRIDGE CITY- Paul W. Wesseler, 86, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning February 18, 2020 at the home of his son in Elmhurst, Illinois. A son of the late William and Addie (Baxter) Wesseler, Paul was born in Batesville, Indiana on December 11, 1933. Paul has lived most of his life in Cambridge City and was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1952. He played basketball for the Wampus Cats and received a basketball scholarship to High Point, North Carolina. Paul married the love of his life, the former, Betty J. Stewart, at St.
Survivors include 4 children, Jamie (Susan) Wesseler of Ft. Wayne, Terri (Dennis) Orndorff of Greenfield, Lisa (Mark) McClain of Cambridge City and Marc (Karen) Wesseler of Elmhurst, IL; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary Jo Franklin and Doris (Verus) Miller; nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, on March 24, 2018 and a grandson, Patrick Ryan Wesseler on January 25, 2014.
