Mr. Paul McClelland, Sr., age 69, of Cusseta, passed away at his residence on Monday, June 6, 2016.
Mr. McClelland was born in Langdale, Alabama on September 4, 1946 to the late Harold and Whitene Smith McClelland. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Field McClelland and Billy Earl McClelland.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beverly McClelland; son, Paul (Chasity) McClelland, Jr., Valley; brothers, Mickey (Marcia) McClelland, Valley, Tommy (Beth) McClelland, Colorado; 3 grandchildren, Bryant, Cole, and Trey.
Mr. McClelland founded and sponsored the Craig Potter Memorial Hunt for several years, which gave handicapped children the opportunity to hunt and enjoy the outdoors. He was a United States Marine veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a man of the Baptist faith.
