Paul Timmins, 83, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Paul was born September 5, 1938, in Sioux City, Iowa to Frank and Lorna Timmins. He married Janice Corwin in 1969. He worked for years as a surveyor. He joined Snyder & Associates in 1978 and became a partner shortly after. He was a sports enthusiast and cheering on Iowa State Cyclones and Drake women’s basketball teams was a favorite pastime.
Paul will be lovingly remembered by his children, Mike (Joyce) Corwin, Kris Coy, and Colleen (Troy) Dubberke; his grandchildren, Jacob Corwin, Kelsey Coy, Andrew (Meg) Coy, Taylor (Chris) Sturdivant, Lucas Dubberke and Matthew Dubberke; his great grandchildren, Rylee Coy and Jackson Sturdivant, and two more great grandsons on the way; brother-in-law Everett (Janet), brother-in-law Chuck Nourse, and sister-in-law Barb Houge; and special friend, Joan Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his sister, Janette Clark, his grandson, Ryan Corwin, and many sisters-in-laws and brother-in-laws.
