Paul T. “Ted” Snowaert, age 82, of Schaffer, passed away October 3, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.

Ted was born July 29, 1935 to Paul and Mildred (Menard) Snowaert of Gladstone, MI., and has one brother, David. He was a Gladstone High School graduate, and employed as a machine tender at Mead Paper for over 40 years.

Ted was a meticulous, hard-working man, and always busy with projects. He stood up for what he believed in, and was devoted to his family and friends. Happiest during hunting season, and when his family was with him at camp. Never one to draw attention to himself, but remembered by everyone he met.

Ted’s wife, Lena (Tuskan) Snowaert is among his survivors. They had been married for over 35 years, and lived together in their Schaffer home until his passing.
