HAVERHILL – Paul Rodriguez, M.D., 77, longtime Haverhill resident passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2016.
He was born on March 20, 1939, in New Britain, CT. Son of the late Edmund and Evelyn (O’Leary) Rodriguez. He was the cherished husband of Jerene (Bertrand) Rodriguez.
He was educated in Southington, CT and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Fairfield University in 1961. Dr. Rodriguez continued his education receiving his degree of Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College in 1965. He completed his Internship and Ob/Gyn Residency at the former New Britain General Hospital now UCONN Health Center from 1965 through 1969. He served honorably in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in Fort Monmouth, NJ being discharged at the rank of Major. Dr. Rodriguez was an Ob/Gyn serving the people of Haverhill and many of the surrounding communities until his retirement in 2003.
