Paul Thomas Reid, Sr., 80, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019, at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe. Born in Fleming County on March 9, 1939, Paul was the son of the late Mary Davis Kissick.
Paul loved to go out to eat, trips to the Smoky Mountains, as well as watch Reds Baseball and UK Basketball. He was a retired business owner. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Paul is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty Manley Reid; his son, Paul Thomas “Tommy” Reid, Jr., and wife, Amanda; and his grandchildren, Ashton T. Reid, Christen Reid, and Seth Fogleman. He is also survived by his brothers, Bill Reid, Jerry Kissick, and Francis Kissick; his sisters, Ann Hendren and Jean Reid; his special nieces, Karen Hendren and Heather Kissick Jones; and his special canine friend, Chigger.
In addition to his mother, Mary, he was preceded in death by his sister, Winnie Dutton; his brother, James Colliver Reid; and a special nephew, Bobby Ray Kissick.
