Paul Blane Rehlander, 94, formerly of Deming, went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, February 17, 2014 in Rockwall, Texas.
Paul was born December 31, 1919 in Mill Creek, Indiana, to Mary Swanson and Ocha Rehlander and following high school he served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. In 1973 he made Deming their home and was in the radio and television repair business. Paul was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by two children, Philip Rehlander and wife Jeanette of Rockwall and Nancy Miller and husband James of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 4 grandchildren, Jamie (Eric) Heaton, Nathanael (Erin) Rehlander, Brian Rehlander and Sarah (Andrew) Campbell and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ocha and Mary (Swanson) Rehlander, 5 brothers; Nople, Virgil, Donald, Weber and Conn Rehlander and 2 sisters, Bonnie Bach and Fawn Wagner. Also preceding him in death was his wife of 69 years, Mary Helen (Lossau) Rehlander.
