Paul Raymond Carr, 72, of Galesburg, died at 3:47 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Cottage Hospital.
Paul was born on March 10, 1936 in Galesburg, the son of Paul Lester and Alice Marie Foster Carr. He married Mickey Mason on September 14, 1975 in Las Vegas, NV. Surviving Paul are his wife, Mickey of Galesburg; 3 sons, Paul P. (Pam) of Pocahontas, AR, Todd (Misty) of Jonesboro, AR, and Michael (Shari) of Ellabelle, GA; 2 daughters, Terry Chappell of Jonesboro, AR and Tiara (Richard) Hatfield of Galesburg; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Paul was an owner/operator truck driver for over 30 years. He retired in 2004. He was a baseball and softball umpire in the Galesburg area for little league as well as IHSA and other leagues. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
