Passed away Monday morning, April 26, 2021 at his home. Paul was born October 31, 1934 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Orva and Kathleen (Denning) Bowers and had been a lifelong resident in Kalamazoo County.
Prior to his retirement he was employed for many years with Eaton Corporation. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. On July 31, 1953 Paul was united in marriage to his loving wife Joyce (Munger), who preceded him in death on January 16, 2014.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Munger, brother in law, Jack Munger and a nephew, Scott Munger. He is survived by his daughters, Lori Zuidema (Scott Israels), Teri (Steve) Kurtz, Julie (David) Newhouse; 7 grandchildren, Melissa (Zuidema) Ragainis, Jennifer (Zuidema) Bos, Matthew Zuidema, Sandra (Kurtz) Dragone, Molly (Newhouse) Pool, Abbey (Newhouse) Barnes, Daniel Newhouse, 3 step-grandchildren, James Kurtz, Daniel Kurtz, Andrew Kurtz; 17 great-grandchildren, and a nephew, Kurt Munger.
