Paul Richard Polderman, 79, of Portage, passed away at his home on August 21, 2022.
Paul was born in Kalamazoo on April 10, 1943, to the late Marinus and Anna (Huizenga) Polderman. Paul owned and operated Polderman’s Flower Shop. The flower shop was his passion, working there for 58 years. He was an avid golfer. He once had a hole in one on the 2nd hole at Old Mille Golf Course. He enjoyed playing poker with his high school friends, and he usually won.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Debra Polderman. Paul and Debra were married on September 16, 1967. He is also survived by three sons, Devon (Lisa) Polderman, Linc Polderman, Tyler Polderman; two grandchildren, Corabelle Polderman and Maisey Polderman; two sisters, Alice Stickles and Marie Frehling; and three brothers, John (Marie) Polderman, Robert Polderman, and Mike (Wendy) Polderman.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shae Polderman; and brothers, Harry Polderman and Jacob Polderman.
