He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Long Stanley; sisters, Birtie Stanley, Lou Greeson, Edith Parker, Maudie Favors; brother, Richard Stanley; and a granddaughter, Heather Stanley. He is survived by his sons, Mitch Stanley (Judy Kirk) of Lafayette, Kent Stanley (Angela) of Dalton, David Stanley of Lafayette, Brent Stanley of Dalton; grandchildren, Brandon Stanley, Kaitlyn Stanley, Kent Stanley, Jr, Khristian House, and Misty Stanley.
