He would continue to develop the business and move it to its final location on Garth Road in Scarsdale where it remained until it closed in 1984. The store was a legacy and employment opportunity for countless family members, friends, and others during the years of its operation.
A family man first throughout his entire life, Paul and Terry spent time with and vacationed frequently with their children in various locations, including their summer house in Mattituck (Long Island) New York where the family, relatives, and friends would gather for days at a time.
Sadly, Theresa passed away in 1981. Paul was able to find love again with Gioia Galgano. They married in Our Lady of Sorrows Church in White Plains, New York, the same church at which they met. Paul often remarked on how blessed he was to have found love twice in his life. He remained happily married to Gioia for the remainder of his life.
