Dr. Paul Mausel: An Eminent and Distinguished Geographer
Paul W. Mausel, 77, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday October 1, 2013 in Union Hospital. He was a retired Professor of Geography from Indiana State University. He was born January 2, 1936 in Minneapolis, MN to Paul G. Mausel and Esther (Sandstrom) Mausel. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jean (Kias) Mausel; a daughter, Catherine Herrin and her husband Tim of Terre Haute; 2 sons, Brandon Mausel and his wife Jennifer of Newark, DE and Justin Mausel and his wife Farahnaaz of Washington, DC; 5 grandchildren, Timmy, Carter, Trey, and Christopher Herrin and Mizan Mausel; mother-in-law, Mary Kias of Terre Haute; sister-in-law, Suzanne McCafferty and her husband Ronald of Clarksville, TN and a brother-in-law, Dr.
