Paul Marion Roche beloved son, brother, uncle, & friend passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, in Brigham City, Utah. He was born Wednesday, December 1, 1965, in St. Benedict Hospital in Ogden, Utah, to Maurice and Penny (Simpson) Roche.
He attended elementary school in Corinne, Utah, where he lived for 8 years. The family moved to Layton, Utah, in 1978, where he attended North Layton Junior High and Layton High School. He worked for the family business Roche & Sons Disposal as a teenager. He worked many jobs over the years; roofing, landscaping, etc. until he was no longer able. He later moved to San Luis Obispo, CA (which he loved) where he met and married Denise Givens in 1992; they later divorced but remained good friends. He eventually returned to Utah and lived in Perry with his parents until moving to Brigham City where he remained until his death.
He loved music, his Nintendo, board games, and fishing with friends. Paul never met a kitty he didn’t love (he rescued many over his lifetime). He was known for his big heart, his testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and his trust in his Lord Jesus Christ despite the many challenges over his whole life….(Free at Last‼)
The family would like to thank Dr. Lynn Beard, Bear River Mental Health (Scot Johnson), the nurses at Aegis Health Care, Pioneer Care Center & many of his friends and neighbors over the years for their concern and care of Paul.
He is survived by his parents, and 5 siblings: Kelly Maurice, Kerry Glen, Tara Elaine (Shaun) Ferguson, Darla Sue (Ryan Sr.) Flynn, and Anthony D.L.
He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, Glen and Lucille Roche; Maurice and Sue Simpson; nephews Quinntin and Kennion Ferguson, and several cousins.
