Paul Ludwig Casterline, 78, peacefully entered the gates of Heaven and met his Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 10, 2015. A son of the late Luzern and Dorothy Never Casterline, he was born April 18, 1937 in Warren, Ohio.
He served his country in the US Army, was self-employed in construction and was a faithful member at New Covenant Church. He was also very active in Gideon’s International, where he served as President and held other offices. His passions were church, Gideon’s International, work and family.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Casterline; daughters, Wanda (Steve) Skinner and Donna (Ron) Katz; grandchildren, Courtney Skinner, Chelsea Skinner (James) Brooks, Michael Skinner, Heather Picardo-Katz and Robert Katz; great-grandchildren, Tyler Thompson and Sierra Picardo; siblings, Earl Casterline and Mary Hedden. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive him. Preceding him in death are his parents; grandson, Matthew Skinner; and brothers, Karl Casterline and Alvin Casterline.
