Paul J Loos Jr. born January 17th 1924 resident of Scottsdale, AZ passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 17th 2010. Paul was born in Sterling, IL and graduated from Community Catholic High School; he went on to serve his country in WWII (1943-1945) on oil tanker “The USS Cacpon”. Upon returning from the war he married Winifred T. Whitmen on April 22nd 1946. They then carried on a fourth generation plumbing business “Paul J Loos Plumbing”. He was a lifetime member of the GYRO Club, a long standing member of the Elks club, and after years of hard work and dedication he retired to Scottsdale in 1986.
Paul survived by his loving wife of 65 years Winifred Loos, his sister Patricia Wittick, his children Tom (Barbara) Loos, Peggy Loos, and Paula Phillips, his grandchildren, Shawn Loos, Kelly (Kevin) Kayser, Tom (Kristy) Loos Jr., and Matthew Phillips, his great-grandchildren, Kaleb Francque, Kolten Loos, Kayden Loos, and Connor Kayser, his best friend James Grennan, and countless other friends and family who he shared years of happy memories with.
Paul had a passion for the game of baseball, more importantly the Cubbies; he loved nothing more than catching a game with his children and grandchildren. Paul also had a fond love for the circus; especially the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey; which he anxiously awaited every year.
Paul touched the lives of all his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
