Paul L. Schneeman, 82 of Greenwood, IN went to his heavenly reward on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He was born to Lloyd and Amelia (Staubach) Schneeman in Lockland, Ohio. He was the second born of four brothers; Roger Schneeman who proceeded him in death, David and Ronald Schneeman of Ohio. He met the love of his life in 1978 and married Gloria (Bowers/Long) Schneeman in 1984.
He was the best step-father to William Long (Devoraeh Long) of Greenwood and Natalie Adair of Greencastle. He survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one niece and four nephews.
He graduated from Hughes High School, Cincinnati, Ohio class of 1957 and Miami University of Ohio class of 1961. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Army 1961-1964 until he was honorably discharged. He graduated Indiana University 1977 with a master’s in education.
Paul taught industrial arts, woodworking and digital electronics for a decade in both high school and middle school. He retired from Pitney Bowes after twenty years as electronics and digital technician.
He played in the marching band at both Hughes and Miami. Later in life he returned to his love of music becoming a charter member of the Greenwood concert band for 18 years. Until Parkinson’s took away his ability to play.
