Paul L. Kurth, age 80, of Geneva, passed away peacefully Monday, February 7, 2022, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born September 2, 1941 in Chicago, the son of Irvin and Janet (Brizzolara) Kurth.
As a teenager, Paul began an apprenticeship at Jahn & Ollier Graphic Arts Co. where he spent a creatively fulfilling 45 years, eventually rising to the position of Plant Manager. Paul was an avid photographer known for capturing the essence of his family and friends with his signature candid snapshots. During his retirement in Fort Myers, Florida, Paul stayed active golfing, gardening, and fishing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Barbara (Thompson); children David of Chicago, Dana (Jeff) Christensen of Geneva, Drew (Dianne) and Dean of New York; grandchildren Reiss and Jace Christensen, and Evan, Katie, and Alex Kurth; and many relatives and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brother Stephen.
