Paul K. Chappell, Sr., age 78, of Shattuc passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at his home in Shattuc. He was born October 4, 1933, in Glenridge, son of Raymond William and Goldie (Ross) Dell. He married Margaret M. (Pugh) on August 29, 1958, and she survives in Shattuc. He is survived by son Paul K. Chappell, Jr. of Shattuc, two daughters Susanne MacDonald and husband David, Lori Lee Belknap & husband Mike of Broken Arrow, OK; 7 Grandchildren Saydee Chappell, Matthew MacDonald, Joshua Belknap, Kona Wilson, Randy Belknap, Jacy Belknap, Krystopher Belknap; 5 Great-grandchildren Kayla, Isaac, Ryan, Cameron & Cody; Three brothers, Gerald Chappell and wife Ann, Tom Chappell & wife Kathy, Don Chappell; a Sister Helen “Rosebud” Deadmond & husband Dean of Odin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers Wilvy Chappell, Pete Chappell, Raymond Chappell, and Jim Chappell, six sisters, Oeta Jourdan, Laverne Wallar, Lillian Wise, Doris Wiedle, Eloise “June” Allstat, and Sue Ward. Paul was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2055, American Legion Post 446, and Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of the Fire Department in the Air Force, and also helped build a switch box for the Voyager 1 Space Craft with a crew of men. He loved the outdoors, and most of all spending time with his family.
