Paul Joseph Anson, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend returned home to his Heavenly Father on August 3, 2010.

Paul was born November 10, 1979 in Everett, Washington, to Byron Joseph Anson and Jayne Iris Feik Spinato. In August 1981 Paul and his family moved to Idaho. Paul attended Centennial and Eagle High Schools and pursued pre-dental studies at the University of Utah. He was co-owner of Stonehenge Construction with his brother Jeff, and he became a Volunteer Fireman in Meridian, Idaho. He was pursuing a full-time career as a fire fighter.

Serving others in life was embedded in Paul’s character. It was important to him to make others around him feel good about themselves, and he treated them well. Paul was very social and got along well with everyone; he didn’t sit still very long, knew a little bit about everything, and always wanted to know more. He was very smart and talented, and he took care with everything he worked on, making it the best that he could.

Paul enjoyed many sports: snowboarding, wakeboarding, waterskiing, mountain biking, camping and climbing. His favorite passion was riding his motorcycle with all his buddies. Having a motorcycle in the back of his truck gave him a sense of peace. Another stress release for Paul was drumming. He would often be found jamming out with his friends. He even won the Gene Harris Award for drumming when he was in high school.

Paul is survived by his mother, Jayne Iris Feik Spinato and husband, Bill; father, Byron Joseph Anson and wife, Christine; sister, Iris Kaye Anson, and Tiffani Ruth Peterson and husband, Benjamin; brother, Jeffrey Byron Anson and wife, Carrie. Paul was a very special uncle to Parker and Audrey. He also leaves behind his girlfriend Mandy Cook and her children, Emma and Benson Cook.

We miss his smile.

“Paul was a truly genuine person.

There is a fund set up at the Eagle Home Federal Savings in Paul’s name.
