Paul was born October 16, 1936 to Paul C and Dorothy (Comiskey) Plato
in Detroit, MI. The family moved to Dearborn, MI soon after. In 1956,
Paul met and later married Mabelle Harrington. Paul and Mabelle
celebrated 52 years of marriage on August 27, 2012, the very day Paul
passed away. In 1961 Paul graduated from the University of Michigan
Law School. He worked for many years in the family business, Ryan
Realty. Paul also owned and operated additional businesses before
becoming a stock broker, eventually retiring from Charles Schwab in
1996. Paul was a wonderful and loved husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Mabelle, children Paul (Lori), Gayle
Besley (Rodger) and Andrew (Toni) and grandchildren Bria, Paul and Ian
Plato, Gabriel Besley, and Alexavia Plato. His siblings include Ray
(Linda), Helen Smith-Plato, Maryann Albert (Dick), Alice Vogler
(Chris) and Don.
