Paul J. Kunzen, Sr., age 89, of Columbus, Ohio went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Paul graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland and began a career in the paint manufacturing industry. He retired from Akzo Nobel, formerly Hanna Chemical Coatings. Paul was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother-in-law, and uncle. He served his country in the US. Army during World War II and was a member of the Catholic War Veterans, the Knights of Columbus and St. Vincent DePaul Society. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Florence (Niedenthal) Kunzen and his wife, Theresa (Graham) Kunzen. He is survived by his brother Donald (Joan) and sister Carol Sharp and children, Karen (Mike) Smith, Mary (Charles) Hopkins, Margaret (Gary) Haller, Paul Kunzen Jr., Susan (David) Ritter, and Patricia (John) Strohm, Seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren with another great grandchild due in November.
