Paul Hanselman, age 76, of Lu Verne, passed away on December 23, 2020 at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. Paul Edwin Hanselman, the son of Edwin and Edna (Olson) Hanselman, was born on November 19, 1944 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He graduated from Lu Verne High School in 1962. On July 27, 1968 Paul was united in marriage with Darlene Ericson at the Zion Lutheran Church in Lu Verne. Paul had worked for Becker Construction, Jet Co in Humboldt and farmed. He enjoyed playing cards with friends, having coffee, golfing, fishing, bowling and going to car shows with Darlene and their 38 Ford and 67 Mustang. Paul loved his grandkids and spending time with them. Left to cherish Paul’s memory is his wife of 52 years, Darlene; children, Brian Hanselman of Lu Verne and Jefferey Hanselman of Wesley; 4 grandchildren, Hailey, Joshua, Konnor and Khloee; and sisters, Lynn Hanselman of Des Moines, Laurie Page of Osceola and Vera Voss of Lu Verne. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Vernon Hanselman.
