Paul H. LaBudde, 87 of Freeport died January 8, 2013 at Provena St. Joseph Nursing Center. Born October 25, 1925 at Freeport, he was the son of Oscar and Esther (Staas) LaBudde. He married Berneice Bower June 18, 1950 and she died February 28, 1980.Paul was a lifelong farmer. His memberships included Our Redeemer Lutheran Church where he was past Elder and Usher, Stephenson County Farm Bureau, and he was a past member of the Board of Directors for Northwestern Illinois Mutual Insurance.
Surviving are his children, Mark (Barbara) LaBudde, David (Kathleen) LaBudde, and Steven (Pamela) LaBudde all of Freeport, and Melody (Craig) Fuchs of Dakota; one sister Ethel (Chriss) Ascher of Forreston; eight grandchildren, Scott (Lori) LaBudde, Christopher LaBudde, Brenda (Ryan) Pierson, Brian Fuchs, Amy (Collin) Graves, Lisa LaBudde, Amanda Tullis, and Megan LaBudde; four great grandchildren, Emma and Ella Pierson, Carlie and Cassie LaBudde; several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife; and three brothers, Oscar Jr., Karl, and Robert LaBudde.
