Paul A. Geminder, 71, of Galien, Michigan died Wednesday morning, February 10, 2010 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Indiana from injuries sustained in a fall. Paul was born March 24, 1938 in Dayton, MI to Loraine D. and Elsie Ann (Trapp) Geminder.
He married Anna Sommers on June 22, 1957 in Baroda, MI. Paul liked an adventure and enjoyed traveling, genealogy research, gardening, reading, piloting a small plane, downhill skiing, and operating heavy equipment. He was a hard worker when he ran his construction and excavation business and continued to stay busy after retirement with farming. Paul loved sharing ideas and swapping stories while spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; daughters, Paula (Joe) Dickman of Galien; Teresa Beechler of Galien; grandchildren, Virginia, Matthew, Anna, Joshua, Bethany, Jonathan, and Cynthia; great grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, and Adam; sisters, Vivian (George) Koebel of Three Oaks, MI; Dolores Stackhouse of Rochester, IN; Donna (Harold) Redding of Galien; Rita (Gary) Thompson of Surprise, AZ; Jerri (Mike) Payne of Galien; Barbara (Greg) Becker of Lake City, MI and brother, Virgil Geminder of Elkhart, IN.
He was preceded in death by his baby daughter, Cynthia Ann in 1958.
