Suddenly, on February 16, 2019, Paul Gary Pinkston, lost his life in a tragic car accident. He was just 36.
Born in Annapolis, Maryland to Russell Paul and the late Diane M. (nee Young) he would spend the entirety of his life in Glen Burnie.
Paul was single minded in his passion for automobiles. He was a mechanic by trade and also spent most of his leisure time tinkering with cars, especially his Scion T/C. It was said that he believed that if you could take apart a car and rebuild it successfully you really knew what you were doing. Naturally his passion would include driving and Paul enjoyed “cruising around,” especially up and down Ritchie Highway. If he wasn’t driving his car, he was building and driving cars on his video games: Cars truly were his life.
He was known to indulge in “watching” movies with his friends, although he slept through most movies, unless it was his favorite, READY, PLAYER ONE, from which he could quote every line. Paul enjoyed music, as long as it had deep bass, which he took pleasure in pumping through his car speakers. He also liked escaping into nature and would frequently hike in Patapsco State Park.
Survivng him is his Father Russell Paul and his dear daughter Hope Marie. He also leaves his loving fiance Gina Pilli. He will be missed by his cousin Clark Beaty and uncle John Rampley and his best friends Kyle Hall and Errick Horner.
Preceding him in death are his mother Diane M. and his sister Angelina Pinkston as well as his grandmother Natalie M. Young.
